Commitment Statement
Kat Coxwell
From the Director, Kat Coxwell:

I will communicate effectively about the rehearsal schedule and when you need to be at rehearsals.
I will make time to listen to your questions and suggestions.
I will give you the direction you need on stage to help you play your part well.
I will be organized and knowledgeable about this play, with a plan ready in advance.
Above all, I commit to making this experience enjoyable for everyone!
What I expect from you as a cast member:
Be present at the rehearsals you are scheduled for, ready to be on stage and play your part.
Communicate with me in advance if there is a conflict with your schedule that will cause you to miss rehearsals.
Respect the other actors at rehearsal without interrupting.
Commit to your character and trust my direction while you are on stage.
Learn your lines, blocking, and choreography, and stick to the plan the best you can.
And most importantly, have fun!
Rehearsal & Performance Commitment
Participation in this production is a significant commitment. By auditioning, you agree to the following:
Rehearsals: Held 3–4 evenings per week and Saturday mornings. Until May, most cast members will only be scheduled for 1-2 rehearsals per week. A detailed schedule will be provided after casting.
Communication: If you are cast in a speaking role and miss three consecutive rehearsals without notice, your part will be recast.
Costuming: Cast members are responsible for providing their base costume layers (e.g., plain t-shirts, tights, or leotards and comfortable, closed-toed shoes for rehearsals). Base layer needs will be determined after casting.
Dress Week: Attendance at all rehearsals during the final week leading up to the show is mandatory.
Performances: Attendance at all scheduled performances is mandatory.
Conflicts with rehearsal or performance dates must be disclosed on your audition form. Excessive conflicts may affect casting decisions.
Content Note
This production includes witches and Jitterbugs and may contain moments that could be considered scary for younger children. Please consider this when auditioning or bringing family members to the performance.
Audition RSVP Form
To help us prepare for auditions, please let us know which session you plan to attend by filling out the form below. While RSVPing is not required, it helps us organize materials and manage the audition process smoothly.
In addition to this RSVP form, you will be required to complete a full audition form when you arrive for your audition. An audition form is not a binding contract. It does not guarantee you a part and you may be cast in a different part than listed on your audition form. Additionally, nothing on your audition form will prevent you from being able to be part of the show in some way.
