We are thrilled to announce auditions for the upcoming production of "Driving Miss Daisy" at Greenwood Little Theatre! 

This iconic play by Alfred Uhry has captivated audiences worldwide with its powerful storytelling, compelling characters, and exploration of themes such as understanding, empathy, and the complexities of human relationships.

Audition Details

The auditions for "Driving Miss Daisy" will be held at the Davis Auditorium, located at 400 Cotton Street, Greenwood, Mississippi.

We have two audition dates for your convenience: May 24 at 5:30 pm and May 28 at 2 pm.

We encourage all aspiring actors to join us and bring their unique interpretations to the roles of Daisy Werthan, Boolie Werthan, and Hoke Colburn.

These characters offer a rich and nuanced canvas for actors to explore as they navigate themes of race, identity, and the transformative power of human connections.

How to Prepare

To make the most of your audition, we recommend familiarizing yourself with the play and its characters. Dive into the rich layers of Daisy Werthan, Boolie Werthan, and Hoke Colburn, understanding their journeys, motivations, and the dynamics of their relationships.

Prepare a monologue of your choice that showcases your acting range and abilities.
