Greenwood Little Theatre presents a special one-hour performance featuring Senior Queens from Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, and Texas. Join us on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at 2:00 pm for an afternoon of entertainment filled with singing, dancing, and comedy that will leave you inspired and uplifted. Selections include Stand By Your Man, No Other Word For Grace But Amazing, You Light Up My Life, Michael Buble’s Feeling Good and many more!

Tickets cost $10 each and will be available at the door.

Meet the Queens

 

Betty Aden - Ms. Super Senior Universe 2018 (Mississippi)

Betty Aden, 83, emerged as the winner of Ms. Super Senior Universe 2018 in Las Vegas. Her pageant journey began at the age of 73 when she clinched the title of Ms. Senior Mississippi America. Over the past 5 years, Betty has played a crucial role on the staff of the Ms. Senior World Pageants as the National Choreographer. Notably, she was honored with the Best Production Award at the Global Beauty Awards in 2022 in Seattle, Washington, equivalent to the Emmy Awards but for Pageantry Organizations.

Betty's passion lies in dancing, and she celebrates forty-two years of "Betty Aden Dance Camp" held annually in June. As a choreographer, she has contributed to various musicals with the Greenwood Little Theater.

Living in Greenwood, Betty wears many hats, serving as the President of the Senior Adults at North Greenwood Baptist Church, a member of H.I.S (women’s ministry), President of the Greenwood Dance Club, member of Town & Country Garden Club, Greenwood Chamber Ambassador, member of NOW (widows group), and a water and fitness aerobics instructor. A 28-year breast cancer survivor, Betty has three children and four grandchildren.

 

Aileen Brady - Ms. Classic Nationwide 2023-24 (Texas)

Aileen Brady 71, Ms. Classic Nationwide 2023-24, entered her first pageant when she was in her 60's and has represented Texas in various pageants, including Ms. Senior America, Ms. Senior USA, Ms. Senior World and Ms. Senior Global Earth. Besides being crowned the first Ms. Classic Nationwide, she has placed 1st Runner Up, 2nd Runner Up, and won Ms. Photogenic and  Pageant Sweetheart in her Pageant career. Aileen won the Global Beauty Awards 2024 for Physical Fitness and was nominated for Physical Fitness and Congeniality in this year's Awards. She is an award winning Personal Trainer and Fitness Coach dedicated to helping Seniors stay active and live healthier lives.  Aileen actively volunteers in her community as a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and The Women's Vintage Society of Dallas and organizes fashion shows to raise funds for various non-profits in the Dallas area. Aileen loves volunteering with her Husband, John Brady to help Veterans and children in their community. 

 

Robyn Clark - Ms Shapley United States Regency 2025 (Texas)

Robyn Clark, 61, started her pageant journey in 2024. She competed and won her first pageant and the title of 2024 Shapely Texas Regency which entitled her to compete at the international pageant where she placed first runner-up. She is a voice and advocate for widow and Alzheimer’s awareness. She is a widow of 6 years, has two adult children, and two grandchildren. She enjoys the fine arts and travel when possible. She is active in her church and volunteers with pageantry conducting mock interviews and judging. 

 

Edwina Chappell - MS Senior Ala. 2008 (Alabama)

Edwina Chappell is a celebrated vocalist and performer whose remarkable achievements have inspired audiences nationwide. Crowned Mrs. Senior Alabama 2008, she went on to become a Top 10 Finalist at the prestigious Mrs. Senior America Pageant the same year. Her dedication to the arts and community has earned her numerous accolades, including induction into the Senior Hall of Fame and a Lifetime Achievement Award presented by President Barack Obama.

A talented country music vocalist, Edwina has received national recognition, including being named Female Vocalist of the Year (50 and Over) by the National Association of Country Music Associations (NACMA) in 2004 and earning 4th Place National Entertainer of the Year honors. Her contributions have been further recognized with the Order of Merit from President Donald Trump and countless local awards celebrating her artistry and service.

A proud native of Westover, Alabama, Edwina’s musical legacy and community involvement remain an inspiration. Whether dazzling on stage or connecting with leaders like Alabama Governor Kay Ivey, her passion for music and advocacy for the senior community shine brightly.

 

Kellie Gragg - Ms. Senior Nationwide 2023-2025 (Alabama)

Kellie Gragg, a multifaceted individual based in Birmingham, AL, has a rich background in real estate, entrepreneurship, and military service. She is a Real Estate Broker with a successful business for over 20 years, and a veteran who served 12 years in the United States Coast Guard, showcasing her dedication to serving the country. Kellie is grounded in God's Word and is the founder of A W.I.S.E. Woman Ministry where she helps women through discipleship and biblical counseling. 

In addition to her professional achievements, Kellie is a certified Life Coach, Speaker/Trainer affiliated with the prestigious John Maxwell Group, and holds the current title of MS Senior Nationwide 2023. Her commitment to personal development and empowerment is evident in her mentorship roles as evident by being nominated in three categories at the upcoming Global Beauty Awards. Kellie's journey is a tapestry of professionalism, service, mentorship, and faith-based ministry.

 

Rebecca Grohman - Miss Legends International 2025 Classic Elite    

I am married to Gary Grohman and have 1 daughter Ashley and 3 granddaughters. 

I was in the Miss America Pageant as Miss Dickson County 1973, swimsuit and talent winner.  At Miss Tennessee 1973 I was in the top 10 finalist. I have worked as a schoolteacher for 40 years in the states of Tennessee, Louisiana, and Texas. In each of my schools, I won the Teacher of the Year award. In 2019, I was Mrs. Florida National Patriot and won the pageant of Mrs. National Patriot 2019.  I have participated in the U.S. Continental Pageant 2019, and the Mrs. Senior World Tourism pageant 2021 winning the title of Mrs. Senior World Tourism Elite 2022. I participated in the Mrs. Senior World Pageant 2022 and Earth Global Pageant 2024

I volunteer for the H.E.R. Foundation, Pensacola Naval Air Station Veteran's Assistance Program, Pensacola Naval Hospital Charity Drive, AHERO Foundation - "Horsin Round on Pensacola Beach", Navy Federal 5k run.

Daughters of the American Revolution - Regent, Vice Regent, State Vice Chairman, Wreaths Across America, Manna Food Bank, Ronald McDonald House. Some of my awards from the DAR are Excellence in Americanism, Excellence in Service for Vietnam Veterans, Outstanding Service for Vice Chairman, American Heritage National Award winner. 

 

Dr. Barbara Mauldin - Ms. Senior America 2015 (Mississippi)

Dr. Barbara Mauldin, a full-time practicing general dentist of 40 years, has made significant contributions to both the dental profession and humanitarian efforts. Serving as the Speaker of the House for the Mississippi Dental Association and president of the Mississippi Dental Association in 2019-2020, Barbara has been recognized as Alumna of the Year by her dental school.

Engaging in annual mission trips before Covid, Barbara offered dental care in Nicaragua, Honduras, Peru, and Nepal. Actively involved in Rotary, she received the Citation for Meritorious Service for her post-Hurricane Katrina efforts. A national titleholder in ballroom and country dancing, Barbara won the MS Mississippi Senior America 2015 pageant and ultimately became MS Senior America 2015.

 
 

Pauline Vaughn Murphy - Ms Senior World Ala. 2024 70's

Pauline Vaughn-Murphy, 72, was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, a city celebrated for hosting the Kentucky Derby. She currently resides in Alabama and was crowned Ms. Super Senior Alabama in 2023. Pauline's journey in the pageant world began at the age of 68, and in addition to her title, she received the Most Photogenic award at the Ms. Super Senior Alabama competition. She was also honored with the People’s Choice Award at the Ms. Marshall County Pageant. In the Ms. Senior World 70s competition, Pauline earned the 3rd runner-up position in her age division, as well as the Ms. Senior World People’s Choice Award and the Ms. Senior World Most Ticket Sales Award.

A licensed social worker, Pauline retired after a distinguished 21-year career at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She has been married to Allen Murphy for 44 years and is the proud mother of five children and grandmother to five grandchildren. Recently, as empty nesters, Pauline and Allen adopted a rescue dog named Mixer Murphy, a name chosen by their grandchildren. In addition to her busy personal life, Pauline remains actively involved in various boards and volunteer organizations.

In 2024, she was honored with a Proclamation from the City of Birmingham, and the Murphy family was named Family of the Year. Passionate about service, Pauline believes in the importance of serving others rather than being served. Her message to senior women is to remain lifelong learners, stay engaged, and embrace the opportunity to learn from mistakes.

 

Eva (Susie) Pospisil - Ms Illustrious Regency International 2024-25

Eva (Susie) Pospisil, 71, from Plano Texas and currently holds the title of Illustrious Regency International. This is the inaugural year for the 60+ age group. I am a 10-year US Army Veteran. I am a retired Computer Science Engineer. I have participated in extreme sports all my life and still ride my motorcycle on a regular basis with the Harley Owners Group. I volunteer at several Ministries at my church to include Prayers and Squares Quilting Ministry and Overnight Warming Station. I am a proud mother of a practicing defense Attorney. I am a caregiver for my older brother. 

 

Sally Beth Vick - Ms. Super Senior Universe 2019 (Alabama)

Sally Beth Vick, aged 82 from Jasper, Alabama, holds the titles of Ms. Super Senior Universe 2019, Ms. Super Senior USA 2018, and Ms. Sr. Alabama  2009 & Top Ten Ms. Sr. America 2009, Ms. Sr. Louisiana/America & Ms. Sr. Louisiana/USA. An Honorary Board Member of Ms. Senior Alabama, Sally Beth is a performer at various events, and supports senior women by encouraging them to step out of their comfort zones and to showcase their uniqueness.

Graduating cum laude from the University of Alabama at 41, she received the "Pageantry Magazine" Legend Award in 2020 and the Global Beauty "Best Talent Award" in 2022. An Alabama House of Representatives Commendation recipient and in 2015 an Alabama Senior Citizens Hall of Fame Award.  Her husband Jimmy has supported her in her journey and has been a helper at all pageants in which she has participated. Sally Beth's journey is marked by achievements and recognition.
