Audition Announcement: "Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?"

Greenwood Little Theatre invites you to audition for "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner", a vibrant stage adaptation of the 1967 Academy Award-winning film. Directed by Roishina Henderson, this poignant and timeless story tackles love, family, and societal expectations in a way that remains powerfully relevant today.

Plot Summary:

It’s the story and the glory of love!

Boy meets girl, and in just ten days, they fall madly in love—defying doubts about matters of the heart. But love isn’t without its challenges, especially when it’s an interracial couple in the 1960s. Joanna Drayton, a young white woman raised by liberal parents, brings her fiancé, Dr. John Prentice—a Black, widowed physician with a wealth of life experience—home to dinner to meet her family.

What unfolds is a heartstring-pulling fusion of love, ideals, and cultural divides as both sets of parents are forced to confront their own beliefs. Will love prevail in this lesson of acceptance? Come find out as Greenwood Little Theatre breathes life into this classic tale of courage and connection.
