Driving Miss Daisy

Set in mid-20th century Atlanta, Georgia, "Driving Miss Daisy" tells the story of Daisy Werthan, an independent and spirited elderly Jewish woman, and her relationship with her African-American chauffeur, Hoke Coleburn. As their lives intertwine over the course of 25 years, we witness the evolution of their friendship amidst a changing social landscape.

Forrest Hodge

Forrest Hodge (Director) - Greenwood Little Theatre is honored to have the talented Forrest Hodge at the helm as the director of our production of "Driving Miss Daisy."

His directorial credits include "Crimes of the Heart" (2021), "On Golden Pond" (2016), and "The Butler Did It" (2015).

Forrest is an active member of the Greenwood Little Theatre community. Currently serving on the GLT board, he plays a pivotal role in shaping the theater's artistic direction and fostering a vibrant theater culture in Greenwood.

Forrest also serves as the Sales and Events Manager at The Alluvian, a renowned luxury hotel and spa in Greenwood.

Nichole Henry Buchanan (Assistant Director) - We are delighted to have Nichole Henry Buchanan as the assistant director for our production of "Driving Miss Daisy" at Greenwood Little Theatre. With a deep-rooted passion for theater and years of involvement at GLT, Nichole brings a wealth of experience and creativity to the production.

Having served as GLT President, Nichole has been an integral part of our theater family for many years. Her contributions have spanned across various roles, including backstage work and captivating performances on stage. She has also showcased her directorial talent in productions such as "No Exit" (2017).
